James Morrison (Director, Co-Writer)
James grew up with a great interest in movies, attending local film schools in his home state of Arkansas as early as 12 years old. He later attended the Brooks Institute of Photography and Film in Ventura, CA before moving to New York, where he spent a year working with Vox 3 Films, an independent Manhattan-based production company headed by Andrew Fierberg and Steven Shainberg (Secretary). While at Vox3, James worked on the production of Sally Potter’s newest film, RAGE and directed a behind-the-scenes documentary on the movie. His last short film, In the Company of Strangers, premiered at the Anthology Film Archives New Directors Series. He is currently working on production of USA’s hit TV show White Collar.
David Mandel (Producer)
David was born and raised in Washington, DC and moved to New York after graduating from the University of Chicago. While working as production coordinator for RAGE (dir. Sally Potter), he met James Morrison and the two agreed to collaborate on a series of short films. Though he has written, directed, edited and acted in short films before, Stay True Darling marks his producing debut. He is also the webmaster for this site and can be contacted by clicking here. He recently produced award-winning filmmaker Doug Lenox’s film Local Tourists. He is currently working on development of a feature film set in Australia.
Joshua Goolsby (Co-Writer)
Josh is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and has collaborated on several films with director James Morrison and editor Mark Thiedeman. His experiences in the film industry have led him to work with a variety of creative types, ranging from Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) to the local eccentrics at Troma Films.
Mark Thiedeman (Editor)
Mark was born in New Orleans and headed north to study film and television at New York University. He wrote and directed the short film Swimsuit, which screened in New York as part of NewFest 2008, and his writing has been published in the anthology You Are Here, This Is Now: The Best Young Writers and Artists in America (Scholastic). Mark recently finished post-production for his first feature-length film, The Scoundrel.

Henry Chen (Director of Photography)
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Taiwan, Henry pursued his love for the arts at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he used his artistic sensibility to create films and ideas. Henry has directed and DPed several films, including Apple and Rerecorded. He recently shot the feature Man from Shaolin, filmed on location in New York and Beijing. He is currently a freelance Cinematographer working in both LA and New York, using his talents to create films of both vision and passion.
